Set up your own Just Giving page
We recommend that you use Just Giving, an online sponsor form with your own fundraising page, which you can email to your friends and family to encourage them to sponsor you.
When your friends receive your Just Giving email, it will take them to your Just Giving page where they can easily and securely make an online donation. When you've completed the race, Just Giving will collect all your sponsorship money so you don't have to.
Your Just Giving site will list all the people who have supported you and will help you to monitor how far you are from your fundraising target of £25.
To set up your page:
- Log on to www.justgiving.com/treesforcities
- Select 'Raise money for this charity'
- Select 'Create your page'
- Create your own personal fundraising page
- Complete the form with your own message and send it to everyone you know!
Remember to ask your friends and family to tick the gift aid box when they make a pledge. If they are UK taxpayers, this will increase the value of their donation by 28%, courtesy of the tax man.
